Xiaomi M365 Pro  vs Pure Air Pro Electric Scooter

The Xiaomi M365 Pro delivers a maximum range of 40km. The Pure Air pro can give its maximum range of 36km as advertised, but it has a slower acceleration.

The Pure Air Pro is “built with typical British and European weather conditions in mind”. The battery is located under the grip tape rather than under the deck like most electric scooters. The manufacturer has provided a warranty for water ingress.

While the Pure Air Pro is designed for a specific type of customer, it also addresses the common problems in the Xiaomi M365 electric scooter. It has a better designed front wheel with 10-inch tyres that are easier to replace. It already comes with tyre slime. The electric scooter charges faster at 4-5 hours.

At the same time, the Xiaomi M365 Pro is lighter and customizable. It has disadvantages that have a workaround. Tyre slime is the most inexpensive electric scooter accessory. Punctures can be avoided as long as the pneumatic tyres are well-maintained. You’re going to charge your electric scooter overnight anyway.

Which electric scooter should you buy?

For a regular Australian commuter on a budget, the Xiaomi Pro 2 is the better choice than the Xiaomi M365 Pro and Pure Air Pro. It has the same power output, top speed, and maximum range with the Xiaomi M365 Pro. But compared to the Pure Air Pro, it has better acceleration, range, and price ($1,099). Pure Air Pro ships out of the UK, so the total cost will get you into the premium price range of electric scooters. At this category, you can buy an electric scooter with more power and dual suspension.
